Business Operations Intern (3–6 Months)

Overview

Mecanum Auto Spare Parts & Components Trading L.L.C. is a Dubai-based specialist supplier of OEM and quality aftermarket parts for American vehicles, serving workshops, fleet operators, and retail customers across the UAE. Our internship programme offers final-year students and recent graduates a structured placement of 3 to 6 months across the parts desk, inventory, procurement, and business administration functions. Interns receive a basic monthly stipend of AED 1,000; those assigned to the sales function, or who generate sales for the business, additionally earn commission. The programme is designed as a pathway to employment: interns who demonstrate reliability and initiative are considered for a permanent position upon completion.

Responsibilities

• —Assist the parts desk with customer enquiries, quotations, and order follow-up across telephone, WhatsApp, and email.
• —Support inventory operations, including stock counts, goods receiving, labelling, and systems record accuracy.
• —Assist the procurement function with supplier comparisons, order tracking, and delivery follow-up.
• —Maintain organised documentation, invoices, and customer records.
• —Prepare reports and summaries for management as assigned.
• —Deliver assigned projects end to end, such as product data organisation or market research, and present outcomes.

Qualifications

• —Recent graduate or final-year student in business administration, supply chain, engineering, marketing, information technology, or a related discipline.
• —Available for a continuous placement of 3 to 6 months; based in Dubai or able to commute daily.
• —Good command of written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
• —Working knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspace, particularly spreadsheets.
• —Punctual, dependable, and willing to learn all aspects of a trading business, including warehouse operations.

Preferred Skills

• —Interest in cars or the automotive aftermarket.
• —Coursework or projects in logistics, e-commerce, data analysis, or digital marketing.
• —UAE driving licence.
