& the UAE

Wrangler parts move faster than any other Jeep we stock. JK (2007–2018) and JL (2018-on) are both covered with shelf stock at Ras Al Khor. Send us your generation, trim, and VIN first. We confirm the part is here before you travel.

INVENTORY

Wrangler Spare Parts: What We Keep on the Shelf

We hold shelf stock for both Wrangler generations: JK (2007–2018) and JL (2018-on). Part families in regular stock include brake pads and rotors, wheel bearings, control arms and track bars, engine and cabin air filters, oil filters, spark plugs, serpentine belts, and front axle U-joints. The Wrangler's solid front and rear axle design means axle components see heavier wear in off-road use than on most other SUVs, and we stock accordingly.

For the JL generation we also carry front CV axle shafts to cover the revised front axle geometry on base trims, alongside solid Dana 44 axle shafts for Rubicon builds. Ignition components and coil packs for the 3.6 Pentastar are in regular stock across both JK and JL. WhatsApp your year, trim level, and VIN and we confirm what is on the shelf for your specific build.

GENERATION DECODER

Wrangler Generations: YJ to JL and Why the Solid Axle Does Not Make Parts Interchangeable

All four Wrangler generations (YJ, TJ, JK, and JL) ran solid front and rear axles from the factory. That shared layout is the sourcing trap: the axle architecture sounds uniform across four decades, but spring type, engine family, body construction, and front axle geometry each changed at the generation boundaries. A suspension component or body panel that fits a 2003 TJ will not fit a 2013 JK even though both have solid axles front and rear.

Two year boundaries create ordering risk on used imports. There is no 1996 model year in the US: Jeep unveiled the TJ at the January 1996 Detroit Auto Show as a 1997 model, delivered it to dealerships in April 1996, and no YJ or TJ carries a 1996 model year badge. A Wrangler sold new in 1996 carries either a leftover 1995 YJ badge or a 1997 TJ badge, and the VIN settles which. At the other end of the sequence, 2018 is a split year: JK production continued through spring 2018 on a 2018 model designation, and JL production opened in November 2017 also carrying the 2018 model year. Model year alone does not resolve the platform for a 2018 Wrangler. Send the 17-digit VIN on WhatsApp and we confirm the generation before any part is ordered.

GenerationYearsPlatform codeWhat changes for parts
YJ (1st generation)1987–1995YJLeaf springs front and rear; Dana 30 front axle, Dana 35 rear on most builds; spring mount hardware and axle perches do not match TJ coil-spring setup
TJ (2nd generation)1997–2006TJCoil springs replace YJ leaf springs at both axles; control arms and track bar added; suspension hardware is not interchangeable with YJ leaf-spring mounting
JK (3rd generation)2007–2018JK3.8L V6 (2007–2011) replaced by 3.6L Pentastar (2012–2018): oil filters, spark plugs, air filters, and coil packs differ between the two engines within this generation
JL (4th generation)2018–presentJLAluminum and steel body mix: panels do not cross with all-steel JK; revised front axle geometry on base trims uses CV axle shafts not found on JK axles

OEM & AFTERMARKET

Mopar for Wrangler: OEM Parts and Aftermarket Options

Mopar is the OEM parts brand for Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, and RAM. For Wrangler, Mopar covers the full part range: brake hardware, suspension components, axle and drivetrain parts, filters, and electrical components. Mopar parts carry the factory part number and are spec-matched to the Wrangler's body-on-frame architecture and solid axle drivetrain. We stock Mopar parts for both JK and JL generations at Ras Al Khor.

We also carry aftermarket parts for Wrangler where the application suits it. Off-road use accelerates wear on suspension and axle components, and aftermarket parts offer a cost-effective replacement path for high-mileage or heavily used builds. Aftermarket parts we supply carry the same warranty terms as Mopar: fault must be documented, and electrical components are non-returnable once fitted. Tell us your trim and usage and we advise the right line for the job.

FITMENT CHECK

JK vs JL: Wrangler Generation Splits That Change the Part

The JK (2007–2018) and JL (2018-on) are both called Wrangler, but they are different platforms requiring different parts. Within the JK itself, the 2007–2011 models used the 3.8L V6 while 2012–2018 switched to the 3.6L Pentastar. Oil filters, spark plugs, air filters, and coil packs differ between these two engines. Front axle spec also varies by trim: JK base models use a Dana 30 front axle while Rubicon uses the Dana 44. The rear follows the same split: Dana 35 on base, Dana 44 on Rubicon. Ordering the wrong axle seal, bearing, or U-joint for the wrong axle code wastes the part.

The JL (2018-on) introduced structural and drivetrain changes. The standard JL runs the 3.6L Pentastar or the 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 in markets where it is offered, and the front axle geometry changed over the JK. JL body panels are a mix of aluminum and steel, unlike the all-steel JK, so panel and hardware fitment does not cross between generations. UAE-market JL builds are predominantly Sahara and Rubicon trim levels. Send your 17-digit VIN: it tells us the axle code, engine, and trim without guesswork.

Two-door vs four-door Unlimited also affects certain body and floor components. Always confirm body style alongside generation when ordering panels, sill plates, or floor hardware. WhatsApp a photo of the existing part with the OEM number visible if you are uncertain which version you have.

WARRANTY

Parts Warranty: Mopar and Aftermarket for Wrangler

Mopar parts carry a warranty against manufacturing defects. Aftermarket parts we supply also carry warranty cover where the fault is documented. Claims require proof: a workshop report or written failure description.

Electrical components, including sensors, ECUs, and ignition modules, are non-returnable once fitted. This applies to both Mopar and aftermarket electrical parts. Off-road builds often operate in harsh conditions; if you are fitting electrical parts to a modified Wrangler, WhatsApp us the part number and your vehicle spec before you commit. We cross-check the specification against your VIN.

FITMENT REFERENCE

Mopar Part Numbers: Wrangler Fitment Reference

Generation is the first question on any Wrangler brake or filter order. JK (2007–2018) and JL (2018-on) carry different part numbers throughout the table. One number is absent that frequently appears in cross-reference lists for this model: 68334862AB. The Mopar eStore records it as a RAM 1500 DS-platform front brake pad kit, confirmed for the 5.7L HEMI in Express, SLT, and Laramie trims. The audit found no Jeep application for it. It is not listed here; ordering it for a Wrangler based on a cross-reference is a confirmed path to the wrong part.

Numbers in this table come from the Mopar eStore (store.mopar.com). They are a fitment reference, not a stock or price list. Rotor fitment within the JL also splits by brake package: confirm 68273502AB versus 68273464AB against your trim via VIN. The A/C compressor 55111374AF is confirmed for JK production after March 2014 only; 2012 and early 2013 units need a VIN check. Send your generation, trim, and 17-digit VIN on WhatsApp and we confirm what is on the shelf at Ras Al Khor.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you stock parts for both JK and JL Wrangler in Dubai?
Yes. Both generations are covered at our Ras Al Khor warehouse. We stock Mopar and aftermarket brake pads and rotors, control arms, track bars, wheel bearings, axle components, filters, and spark plugs for JK and JL. Send your generation, trim, and VIN on WhatsApp and we confirm what is on the shelf before you travel.
What is the difference between JK and JL Wrangler axle parts?
The JK uses Dana 30 or Dana 44 front axles and Dana 35 or Dana 44 rear axles depending on trim. The JL revised the front axle geometry, so bearings, seals, and shafts do not cross between JK and JL. Engine generation also matters within the JK: the 3.8L (2007–2011) and 3.6L Pentastar (2012–2018) take different oil filters and spark plugs. Always confirm your VIN so we match the correct axle code and engine.
Can you supply Mopar parts for a UAE-spec Jeep Wrangler?
Yes. Mopar parts for UAE-market Wrangler are stocked or sourceable from our Ras Al Khor warehouse. UAE-spec Wranglers are predominantly JK Unlimited and JL Sahara or Rubicon builds. Send your VIN and the part family you need. If the exact Mopar part is not on the shelf, we confirm lead time before you commit.
