INVENTORY

Mustang Spare Parts: What We Keep on the Shelf

We hold Motorcraft shelf stock for Ford Mustang covering the S197 generation (2005–2014) and S550 generation (2015–on). Part families in regular stock include brake pads and rotors, oil filters, air filters, spark plugs, ignition coils, serpentine belt kits, and suspension components including struts, sway bar links, and control arm bushings.

The S550 introduced the 2.3L EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder alongside the 5.0L Coyote V8. The 5.0L Coyote also spans the S197 Boss 302 and GT500 variants (though Shelby GT500 supercharger components are a separate inquiry). Motorcraft oil filters, air filters, and spark plugs differ between EcoBoost and V8 applications. We stock both on the shelf and can confirm your specific part number once you send the engine code.

OEM & AFTERMARKET

Motorcraft for Mustang: Factory Spec Parts and Aftermarket Lines

Motorcraft is Ford's specified service-parts brand for Mustang. The Mustang workshop manual calls Motorcraft by part number for oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, and serpentine belt. On the 5.0L Coyote, Motorcraft specifies a particular oil filter with a built-in bypass valve calibrated for the engine's variable cam timing hydraulics. Using a non-specified filter risks starving the cam phasers of oil pressure during cold starts. We carry the correct Motorcraft filter on the shelf for both S197 and S550 5.0 Coyote builds.

We also carry aftermarket brake components for Mustang where the customer specifies them. Performance-oriented brake pads and rotors for EcoBoost and GT builds are available. Aftermarket parts carry the same warranty conditions: fault must be documented, electrical parts non-returnable once fitted. For ignition components on EcoBoost turbocharged builds, we recommend sending the VIN before ordering to avoid confusion between S550 revision years.

FITMENT CHECK

Mustang VIN Check: S197 vs S550, EcoBoost vs V8 Fitment Differences

The S197 generation (2005–2014) uses a solid rear axle on the live-axle platform, a carryover from prior Mustang generations. The S550 (2015–on) introduced an independent rear suspension for the first time in a production Mustang. The rear suspension change is the most consequential parts break in Mustang history: every rear control arm, bushing, hub bearing, rotor, and caliper bracket is unique to each generation. A rear S197 suspension part will not fit an S550 under any condition.

Within the S550, engine fitment splits the parts catalog. The 2.3L EcoBoost and 5.0L GT use different brake master cylinder specifications on some model years, different front caliper piston diameters (Brembo caliper packages appear on Performance Package and PP2 builds), and different oil filter housings. The EcoBoost also carries an intercooler and charge-air cooler not present on V8 builds. Sending an engine code is not enough; the full VIN confirms model year, engine, and any factory performance package option.

For UAE-market Mustang builds, confirm whether your car is US-spec or GCC-spec. Cooling system calibration differences can affect coolant flush intervals. GCC builds may also have a different emissions package that affects sensor placement on the EcoBoost exhaust manifold. WhatsApp your 17-digit VIN and we cross-check before pulling anything from the shelf.

WARRANTY

Parts Warranty: Motorcraft and Aftermarket for Mustang

Motorcraft parts carry warranty against manufacturing defects. Aftermarket parts we supply for Mustang also carry warranty cover where the fault is documented. Claims require proof: a workshop report or written failure description. Bring the failed part and its purchase record to our Ras Al Khor counter.

Electrical Mustang components (ECU, PCM, SYNC modules, ABS modules, EcoBoost boost control solenoids) are non-returnable once fitted. This applies to Motorcraft and aftermarket electrical parts equally. Before fitting any electrical Mustang component you are uncertain about, WhatsApp us the part number and fault description. We cross-check against your VIN and engine family before you commit.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you stock Motorcraft parts for the Ford Mustang S550 EcoBoost and GT in Dubai?
Yes. We hold Motorcraft shelf stock for both the EcoBoost 2.3L and the 5.0L GT on the S550 platform (2015–on), as well as S197 (2005–2014). Oil filters, air filters, and spark plugs differ between the EcoBoost and V8 applications. Send your VIN or engine code on WhatsApp and we confirm the exact Motorcraft part number before you travel.
Will S197 Mustang rear suspension parts fit an S550?
No. The S197 uses a solid live rear axle. The S550 uses a fully independent rear suspension. The two systems share no rear suspension geometry, brackets, bearings, or rotor specifications. Ordering S197 rear parts for an S550 is a guaranteed non-fit. Always send the VIN or state the generation clearly: S197 (2005–2014) or S550 (2015–on).
What Motorcraft oil filter does the Mustang 5.0 Coyote V8 need?
The 5.0L Coyote V8 specifies a Motorcraft FL-500S or equivalent Motorcraft part number (this can vary by model year revision). The filter uses a built-in bypass valve calibrated for the Coyote's variable cam timing (Ti-VCT) hydraulics. A non-spec filter with a different bypass pressure rating can reduce cam phaser oil pressure during cold starts. Send your full VIN and we pull the correct Motorcraft part number for your specific model year, not just the engine family.
